I come to you

No tow, no ride to the shop, no waiting room. I work wherever your car is parked.

Prices made for students

No shop overhead means you pay less, and you know the price before I start.

A mechanic you can trust

Eight years working on cars. I explain what's wrong in plain language and never push work you don't need.

How it works

Booking takes one short form.

  1. Send a request

Fill out the short form with your VIN, what's going on, and where your car is.

  2. Get a price and a time

I get back to you with a quote and pick a time that fits around your classes or work.

  3. I fix it where you are

I show up with the parts and tools while you go about your day. Rather drop your car off with me near BYU campus? That works too, with no travel fee.

Know the price before I pick up a wrench

Shops charge for their building, their waiting room, and their front desk. I just charge for the repair.

  • Your quote comes by text before any work starts
  • Priced for your exact year, make, and model
  • If I find something else, I ask before fixing it

Emilio's first truck, a navy Ford F-150 with a silver stripe
My first truck, a 2001 F-150 (the BYU truck).

Started with a truck in Florida. Now fixing cars around BYU.

I fell in love with the car industry working on my first truck, a 2001 F-150. After years of teaching myself, learning from mentors, and finding good resources along the way, I came out to BYU to study mechanical engineering.

At first, I fixed students' cars as favors. I quickly realized how many students around here were getting ripped off by shops, couldn't afford repairs, or didn't feel confident taking their car to a shop at all. That's why I started The Campus Car Guy.

Now I work on cars for students all over Utah Valley, and for families in residential neighborhoods too.
